At The Gables, we’re passionate about genuine hospitality and cultivating an environment that allows you to easily create sweet memories that last a lifetime. ABOUT
Who We Are
Originally known as the Ruffin- Farmer-Dawson House, our Gothic Revival styled home was built and designed by Oswald Lipscomb around 1856. With much of its original architectural design, like its steeply pitched gables accented by beautiful lancet windows, this property-along with its two adjacent matching tobacco barns- offer stunning detail, character, and history. You'll easily find so much opportunity packed on our 5.1 acres.

The Gables is owned and operated by Barry and Sherry Ginn. As an ever-evolving family of six, through the miracle of adoption, birth, and foster care, they are humbled at the opportunity to host and offer hospitality to our community.
